Care Tips

Soil:
Prefers fertile, humus-rich, well-drained soil.

Watering:

Keep soil evenly moist, especially in hot weather.
Water new plantings daily for the first few weeks.
After establishment, water every 2–3 days as needed based on weather and soil type.

Feeding:

Enrich soil annually with organic compost or mulch.
Apply a balanced, bloom-boosting fertilizer (e.g., 5-10-5) in early spring and mid-season.
Avoid late-season feeding to prevent frost-sensitive growth.

Mulching:
Apply a 2” (5 cm) layer of mulch to retain moisture, suppress weeds, and extend blooming into summer.

Planting Instructions

Plant anytime from spring to fall.
Loosen soil to 12–16” (30–40 cm) deep and mix in compost or other organic matter.
Space according to plant label recommendations.
Position taller plants in the back and shorter ones in front.
Gently remove the plant from its container, tease apart roots if needed, and plant at the same depth as in the pot.
Firm soil around roots and water thoroughly.
